Paper Hacks 03.04.06

I figured out something useful today. Since it’s not tax season or anything, I was working on something in the office and I suddenly had to find measurements.

But my cache of office supplies didn’t come with a ruler. Without one, how do you find a reliable estimate of an inch or a foot? (Guys, don’t even think it.)

On your pointing finger the distance between of the middle space between joints is about an inch ( the joint closest to your fingernail to the next joint down). Standard size print paper is 11 inches long, so a piece of paper plus one finger joint length is about a foot. good luck.
